Hope Restoration Youth Home (aka Future Hope Orphanage)

Mother Ettais located in a suburb of Buchanan, Grand Bassa, Liberia.  In the early 1990's, Etta Kpui Nasser began taking orphaned children into her home. These children came from families being victimized by a raging civil war.  Mother Etta's compassion knew no bounds and soon there were too many children to accommodate at her home and through much personal sacrifice she created Future Hope Orphanage.

In 2004, Randy Vick, an American, serving as the UN Police Commander for southern Liberia met Mother Etta and the children of Future Hope. Randy soon became Papa Randy to the 60 children of Future Hope and it soon became a ministry of the Church of Jesus Christ, Restoration Branches, resulting in a much needed increase in financial and spiritual support.

Since 2005, several missionary teams, including medical and construction professionals have visited the orphanage, resulting in marked improvement in the health of the children as well as the physical facilities.  The well was upgraded to provide clean, abundant water. A new dormitory has been built, as well as a new school and new kitchen facilities. Other improvements include the installation of electricity in the dormitories.  A security fence and food storage facility are currently under construction.

Rice soy protein meals now being provided, insure the children receive the nutrition so necessary to proper development of mind and body.

Permanent fulltime staff include caretakers, teachers, security and maintenance personnel.

We are committed to providing a safe, healthy and loving environment where these beautiful kids can grow to their full potential. It is our hope that as you become more familiar with our efforts in behalf of the children, you will want to be involved in this very worthwhile calling.

We currently have no program for adoption of the children, but it is our hope and prayer that we can find sponsors for each child. Sponsors that will not only provide monthly financial support for "their" child, but sponsors willing to establish a personal relationship with these children who are in such great need of love and attention.  If you are interested, please go to the "Sponsorship" section of our website.

Thank you for visiting us here. We, and the children, hope to hear from you.
